The short film "Idée fixe" is based on an episode from the novel by Donna Tartt "The Secret History". A group of students who study the culture of ancient Greece decided to recreate the ritual of bacchanalia: the connection with the reality is lost, all the unconscious comes to the fore.
The film doesn't pretend to match the book. It's author's interpretation of the idea.
"Idée fixe" was made by students of Institut of Journalism, Minsk, Belarus. Directed by photographer Darya Lobanova.

Короткометражный фильм "Idée fixe" снят по мотивам эпизода из романа Донны Тартт "Тайная история". Группа студентов, увлекающихся изучением культуры древней Греции, решают воссоздать ритуал вакханалии: связь с реальным теряется, все бессознательное выходит на первый план.
Фильм не претендует на соответствие книге, это авторская интерпретация идеи.
